Part Two
Physical Mirror
In our last post, I challenged you to do some soul-searching as you reflect on yourself. Today I will direct you as we talk about the physical mirror in the reflection process.

You are standing in front of a mirror; remove all of your clothes. What do you see? Do you like what you see? Why? Why not? Are you tall and sleek or small and petite or something in between? Do you like what you see? If not, can you do anything about it? You can't do very much about your height, but you can do something about your weight. You can go on a diet. You can change your sedentary lifestyle by joining a walking group or by joining a gym. If you are tall but not sleek or short with a bit too much meat, then make a change.
What else do you see? Hairstyle, eye color, make-up, or no make-up. These are areas you can make decisions about according to your liking.
Remember the Serenity prayer: "God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change. Courage to change the things I can, and Wisdom to know the difference."
Which are you choosing?
"To accept the things you cannot change. Or
"The courage to change the things you can and act upon those changes.
